Fitzharris takes its name from the old Fitzharris estate and is mainly post-war housing to the south-west of the town centre. It has a local shopping parade and Fitzharris Park, which is a well-used family green space. The housing is not going to win any architectural prizes but it gives you space and a garden at prices below central Abingdon. It has a community feel, with people who've lived here a long time.
