Kennington

Kennington is one of the more desirable parts of Ashford. It feels like a separate village even though it has been absorbed into the town's sprawl. There is a proper village green, a cricket ground, a church, and a decent pub. The primary school has a good reputation. Housing is a mix of older village properties and later estate development on the fringes. It sits just off the A28, so getting into town or out into the countryside is straightforward. People who live here tend to be quite protective of its village identity.
