Willesborough

Willesborough is one of the more established suburbs of Ashford with a history going back well before the town's modern expansion. There is a recognisable centre around the church and the Lees, which gives it more identity than most Ashford suburbs. Housing ranges from older period cottages near the centre to 1950s and 60s estates and newer builds on the edges. The William Harvey Hospital is here, which is the main hospital for the area. It has its own shops, pubs, and primary schools. Feels like a proper neighbourhood rather than just another estate tacked onto Ashford.
