Finchley Church End

Church End is the heart of Finchley, centred around the junction where Ballards Lane meets Regents Park Road. There's a decent parade of shops, restaurants and cafes. The Arts Depot brings some cultural life. Victoria Park is close by. Finchley Central tube (Northern line) is the main station. Housing is a mix of Victorian terraces, 1930s semis, and some mansion flats. It has a comfortable, established suburban feel without being boring. The large Jewish community contributes to the area's identity, and you'll find kosher shops and restaurants alongside everything else.
