Hendon

Hendon is solid, unspectacular suburbia anchored by Middlesex University and the M1 corridor. The town centre around Hendon Central tube has a useful parade of shops and restaurants. Brent Street is the other commercial strip, with a strong mix of kosher and Asian food. Housing is mostly 1930s semis and some larger Edwardian houses. The Welsh Harp reservoir and Sunny Hill Park provide green space. It's practical rather than pretty, well connected on the Northern line, and popular with students and families. The A41 running through can make parts feel busy.
