Whetstone

Whetstone stretches along the High Road (A1000) between Totteridge and North Finchley. There's a decent selection of restaurants and shops along the main road, including some good independents. Totteridge and Whetstone tube is at the northern end. Housing is a mix of 1930s semis on the side streets and some larger properties. It's not as wealthy as Totteridge or as lively as North Finchley, but it sits comfortably in between. Families like it for the schools and the straightforward Northern line commute.
