Belvedere sits on the Thames between Erith and Abbey Wood. The station has Southeastern services but the real change has been Abbey Wood getting the Elizabeth line, which is walkable from the western end. Upper Belvedere on the hill has Victorian and Edwardian terraces with views over the Thames marshes. Lower Belvedere near the station is more mixed, with some ex-industrial land being redeveloped. Lesnes Abbey Woods is a proper ancient woodland on the southern edge and is one of the borough's best green spaces. It is affordable and improving, but the high street is minimal.
