Alperton

Alperton has seen enormous change in the past decade. The old industrial land along the canal between Alperton and Stonebridge Park stations has been filled with new-build towers, mostly one and two bed flats aimed at young professionals and renters. Alperton tube (Piccadilly line) is the main transport link, with a straightforward run into central London. The older streets have interwar semis and some ex-council. Ealing Road nearby is one of London's best strips for South Asian food and groceries. The canal towpath gives it a surprising sliver of green.
