Farnborough

Farnborough village, not to be confused with the Hampshire one, is a small settlement near Orpington on the edge of the green belt. It has a village hall, a church, a pub, and a small row of shops. Housing is a mix of older properties and some newer development. It's quiet, green, and car-dependent. The appeal is rural living within the London boundary, at prices that reflect the lack of a station.
