St Paul's Cray

St Paul's Cray is a large postwar housing estate built in the 1950s. It has a strong working-class identity and a close community. The parade of shops on Dovetail Close covers basics. It's car-dependent for most things beyond the immediate area. The Cray Valley and surrounding green spaces are an asset. Housing is predominantly ex-council semis and terraces. It's one of the most affordable parts of the borough.
