Old Dean

Old Dean is the council estate on the western edge of Camberley, built in the 1950s and 60s with strong military housing connections. It has its own community centre, shops, and a real sense of local identity. The housing is mostly terraces and semis, some ex-MOD. It's the most affordable part of Camberley and it knows it. People here tend to be long-term residents with family ties to the area. It can feel a bit cut off from the rest of town, tucked behind the A30.
