Northfields

Northfields is a proper family neighbourhood with a small but well-liked parade of shops along Northfield Avenue. The tube station (Piccadilly line) makes it convenient and the streets between here and South Ealing have attractive Edwardian terraces. Lammas Park is good for kids. It's not flashy but it's the kind of area where people settle, join the school community, and stay for years. The independent shops and cafes have improved noticeably, giving it a bit more personality than it had ten years ago.
