Clay Hill feels genuinely rural despite being inside the M25. Detached houses on large plots, paddocks, and lanes that feel more like Hertfordshire than London. Hilly Fields is nearby. There's no tube or train station within easy walking distance, so you need a car. It's the sort of place where people keep horses. Very different from the rest of the borough.
