Southbury

Southbury sits between Enfield Town and Ponders End, straddling the transition from suburban west to urban east. Southbury station (Greater Anglia) gives you trains to Liverpool Street. The housing is mixed, with interwar semis, some ex-council, and newer development. The big Tesco and retail park on Southbury Road is the main commercial feature. It's a functional, unremarkable part of the borough that does what it needs to do.
