West Heath

West Heath sits between Farnborough and Fleet, and benefits from that position. The shopping parade on Fleet Road has a few useful independents and takeaways. Housing is a mix of 1930s semis and newer estates, with some larger detached places toward the Fleet end. It borders the heathland that runs along the Basingstoke Canal, which is genuinely nice for walking and cycling. The canal towpath is one of the better outdoor amenities in this part of Hampshire.
