Rowledge

Rowledge is a proper village on the southern edge of Farnham, with a green, a well-liked pub (the Cherry Tree), a primary school, and a strong community feel. Alice Holt Forest is on the doorstep, which is a big draw for families and dog owners. Housing is a mix of 1930s and postwar builds, some larger detached properties on the roads towards Frensham. It has enough of its own identity that people say they live in Rowledge, not Farnham. The trade-off is distance from the station. You are driving or cycling into Farnham for the train.
