Sands End is the southwestern tip of Fulham, down by Chelsea Harbour and the Lots Road power station development. It used to be industrial and working class, centred on the gasworks. The gasworks site has been redeveloped into Imperial Wharf, with new-build flats and the Imperial Wharf Overground station. The older streets around Stephendale Road and Broughton Road still have a more traditional Fulham feel. It's a mixed area: shiny riverside apartments next to council housing. The Overground station was a game-changer for connectivity. Chelsea Harbour is technically in Kensington and Chelsea, but Sands End residents use it.
