Tottenham High Road is the long commercial strip running through the middle of Tottenham. It's busy, noisy, and full of independent shops, takeaways, and services that reflect the area's diversity. The housing on streets either side is Victorian terraces, many converted. Tottenham Hale is the nearest tube but the High Road is primarily served by buses and the overground. There's a rawness to it that can feel intimidating if you're not used to urban London, but people who live here are often fiercely loyal to the area.
