Great Parndon

One of Harlow's original neighbourhood clusters on the southern side. The housing is typical new town stock from the 1950s and 60s, with some later additions. There is a local shopping parade and primary schools nearby. The area around Parndon Wood is a genuine asset for walks and nature. Closer to the Princess Alexandra Hospital than most other parts of town, which matters for some families.
