The Harrow side of Edgware runs along the Edgware Road towards Burnt Oak. This is the stretch with the big retail parks and the Broadwalk Shopping Centre. A lot of the housing here is interwar semis and some newer developments. The Northern line terminus and bus interchange make it a transport hub. The kosher restaurant scene is strong, reflecting the large Jewish community. It is practical and busy rather than pretty, but you can get everything you need without going far.
