Harrow on the Hill

The Hill is the posh bit of Harrow, dominated by Harrow School and its cluster of historic buildings spread across the hilltop. The streets around the school have a genuine village feel, with independent shops, a couple of pubs, and views across west London. Housing on the Hill itself is expensive, a mix of period houses and some very large detached properties. The Metropolitan line station at the bottom connects you to Baker Street in 20 minutes. It feels like a separate world from the town centre below it, which is part of its appeal.
