Hertford Bengeo

Bengeo is the popular residential area on the hill to the northeast of the town centre. The streets are leafy and the housing is a solid mix of Victorian, Edwardian, and interwar semis with some larger detached homes on the upper roads. Bengeo has its own village feel with a church, a well-regarded primary school, and a small parade of shops on Bengeo Street. Families gravitate here for the schools and the fact that you can walk down into town in ten minutes but feel like you are somewhere separate. The Beane valley and Hertford Heath are both accessible on foot.
