Allington & Bridge

Allington sits south of the river with a retail park that takes care of most practical shopping needs, so residents don't need to go into the town centre as often as you'd think. The residential streets are a mix of Victorian terraces and more recent cul-de-sacs, making it a practical choice for families who want space without the premium price of somewhere like Bearsted. Bridge is smaller and quieter, threading together newer and older housing. The A249 dual carriageway runs through it though, and the noise is noticeable from nearby roads.
