Woodford Bridge

Woodford Bridge sits on the border with Essex, linking South Woodford with Chigwell. The housing is a mix of large interwar semis, some Edwardian properties, and a few newer developments. Ray Park and the Roding Valley provide green walks. There is no tube station in Woodford Bridge itself so you go to South Woodford or Woodford on the Central line. It is quiet, residential, and popular with families who want more space than South Woodford at slightly lower prices. The high street on the A113 has local shops and restaurants, including a cluster of good Turkish and Iranian places.
