Good high streetFamily-friendly

The town centre has a decent range of independent shops, including a butchers, a greengrocers, and several cafes. The High Street has been improved in recent years. Seaford station provides trains to Brighton in about 30 minutes and to London via Lewes. Housing near the centre is a mix of Victorian terraces, 1930s semis, and some newer developments. The beach is walkable. It's not a fancy seaside town, but it has a genuine community.
