Chalvey

Chalvey is one of the more deprived parts of Slough, south of the high street toward the railway line. Tight Victorian terraces, many converted into flats and HMOs. It has a strong South Asian community and the local shops reflect that. The streets are dense and parking is a nightmare. It is cheap, and very close to the station, which are the practical advantages. Not an area people choose for quality of life, more one where the budget dictates.
