The southern extension of Southwater and the small village of Shipley. Shipley is notable for its windmill and the King's Head pub. The area is more rural than Southwater North, with larger properties and more open farmland. Shipley has a church and a primary school but very limited facilities. It's quieter and greener, with the Downs Link path running through on the old railway line.
