Vauxhall

Vauxhall in Tonbridge is the area south of the river and east of the Pembury Road, not to be confused with its London namesake. It is a mix of Victorian terraces, interwar housing, and some light industrial pockets near the river. Slightly scruffier than the north side of town but close enough to the centre to be practical. The Vauxhall Lane area has seen some newer development. It is one of the more affordable entry points into Tonbridge.
