Chingford Green

Chingford Green is the old village centre of Chingford, clustered around an actual green with a church and a pub. Houses tend to be 1930s semis and some older properties, many with good-sized gardens. Epping Forest is right there, which is the main reason people want to live here. It feels genuinely suburban in a way that most of Waltham Forest does not. The trade-off is that transport links are poor by London standards, with just the Overground terminus at Chingford.
