Lea Bridge has changed a lot since the station reopened in 2016. Before that, it was a slightly forgotten corner between Leyton and Walthamstow with poor transport links. Now the Overground connection to Stratford and the Olympic Park has brought new interest. The Lea Valley is right there for cycling, walking, and the wetlands. Housing is a mix of Victorian terraces and some council-built stock. Still raw around some edges, but people who got in early have done well.
