Knightsbridge means Harrods, Harvey Nichols, and some of the most expensive residential property in the world. Belgravia is the grand white stucco squares south of Knightsbridge, much of it owned by the Grosvenor Estate. Eaton Square, Belgrave Square, Chester Square. Embassies, hedge fund offices, and flats that sell for tens of millions. Knightsbridge and Hyde Park Corner tubes serve the area. It's beautiful in an immaculate, slightly intimidating way. The streets are quiet because many of the properties are second or third homes. Not a place with much everyday neighbourhood life unless you count the staff at the Mandarin Oriental.
