GU34 2 / GU34 4
Holybourne is a proper village that has mostly kept its separate identity despite being absorbed into Alton's postcode. There is a village green, a pub (the White Hart), a church, and period cottages along the main street. The River Wey runs through it. Housing is a mix of older village properties and some later development on the edges. It feels noticeably different from the rest of Alton. People who live here are quite attached to its village status and it has an active community.
