Nork is the residential area between Banstead and Burgh Heath, built mostly in the 1930s when the Nork estate was sold off for development. Streets of neat semis and detached houses with generous gardens on a gentle slope. There is no real centre or high street. You go to Banstead village for shops and to Banstead station for trains. Nork Park is a pleasant local green space. It is quiet, orderly, and entirely residential. The sort of place where neighbours know each other and the streets are clean.
