Dagenham Village

The original village centre of Dagenham, around the parish church of St Peter and St Paul. This is the oldest part of Dagenham and has a few remnants of the village it once was before the estate swallowed everything around it. The Cross Keys pub and the church give it a scrap of character. Dagenham Heathway station is walkable. It is a small pocket of older identity in a sea of interwar housing.
