Beggarwood

A 1990s and 2000s development on the southern edge of Basingstoke. Mostly detached and semi-detached family houses with gardens, built by the big developers. Beggarwood Park is a genuine asset, a large open space on the doorstep. There is a primary school and a small local centre but you are driving for anything else. It is the sort of place young families move to when they need a three-bed with a garden and London prices make that impossible. Quiet, safe-feeling, and a bit boring, which is exactly what the residents want.
