RG22 4
Built from the early 1990s on the southern fringe, Hatch Warren is one of the largest and most recognisable of Basingstoke's newer estates. It has a proper local centre around the Hatch Warren retail park with a Tesco, Costa, and a cluster of other shops. Housing is predominantly red-brick detached and semis with garages, built by Persimmon and Taylor Wimpey. There is a primary school and the area borders open countryside to the south. It is very much a family commuter estate and feels like a self-contained suburb. Residents can go weeks without going into Basingstoke town centre.
