Sherborne St John & Rooksdown

Two different characters here. Sherborne St John is a proper village north of Basingstoke with a pub, a church, period cottages, and a village feel that is genuinely distinct from the town. Rooksdown is a large modern development built on the old Park Prewett hospital site from the 2000s onwards. Rooksdown has its own primary school and community facilities, and the former hospital's grounds give it more green space than most new-builds. The combination is odd on paper but they share a ward boundary.
