Winklebury & Manydown

Winklebury is a 1970s estate on the north-western edge of town. It has its own community centre and local shops but has historically been one of the less popular parts of Basingstoke. Manydown is the huge development site to the west that is bringing thousands of new homes over the coming years. If and when Manydown is fully built out, this area will change considerably. For now, Winklebury itself is affordable and functional, with Worting Wood nearby for walks.
