DA8 2
Slade Green is a compact area built around the station and a post-war estate. The housing is mostly social housing stock, some now privately owned. Slade Green station has services to London Bridge but the frequency is not great. It borders Erith Marshes which provides open space. It is one of the more deprived parts of the borough with fewer amenities than neighbours. The community is close-knit but it does not have the suburban polish of most of Bexley.
