Bookham West

The western half covers Great Bookham village, which is where most of the daily life happens. The High Street has a butcher, a deli, charity shops, a couple of pubs, and enough to get by without driving to Leatherhead. Bookham station is on this side, so the commute is more convenient. Housing stock is similar to the east but with more 1930s semis near the village core and some larger detached houses on the roads towards Effingham. The Old Barn Hall hosts community events and there is an active village feel with fetes, clubs, and societies that keep it from being just another dormitory.
