Mapesbury is a conservation area of handsome Edwardian houses on wide, tree-lined streets between Willesden Green and Cricklewood. The houses are big, many still single dwellings, and the area has a noticeably well-maintained, leafy feel. Willesden Green tube (Jubilee line) is the main station. The Mapesbury Dell is a small local nature reserve. It's one of the better-kept residential pockets in Brent, attracting families who want a large period house and a Jubilee line commute. No real shops within the conservation area itself.
