Hoe Street

Hoe Street is the main commercial artery of Walthamstow, running from the Central station up toward the Village. The bottom end near the station is busy and functional, with fast food places and mobile phone shops. Further up toward the Village it improves. Housing on the streets off Hoe Street is mostly Victorian terraces, many converted into flats. It is well connected but the road itself is not somewhere you would linger by choice.
