Markhouse

Markhouse covers the streets between Walthamstow and Lea Bridge, around Markhouse Road. It is a mixed area with Victorian terraces alongside some council housing. Close to Blackhorse Road station, which has the Victoria line. The area has been seeing new development around the station. It is affordable by Walthamstow standards and benefits from the spillover of interest in the wider area, but it does not have much of its own identity yet.
