Tokyngton

Tokyngton has been completely reshaped by the Wembley Park regeneration. The old industrial land and car parks around the stadium have become a dense new neighbourhood of towers, with Quintain's development bringing thousands of new flats, a cinema, restaurants, and the London Designer Outlet. On event days it's overwhelmed with football and concert crowds. On quiet days it can feel a bit sterile. Wembley Park tube (Metropolitan and Jubilee lines) is excellent for transport. The older residential streets behind the new builds are more modest, with interwar terraces. It's two places in one.
