Willesden Green

Willesden Green has quietly gentrified around its Jubilee line station. The library and cultural centre are a proper local asset, and the High Road has a growing number of independent cafes and restaurants alongside the traditional mix. Housing is Victorian and Edwardian terraces, many converted into flats, plus some purpose-built blocks. It's become popular with young professionals priced out of West Hampstead, which is only one stop away. The streets around the station have a pleasant residential feel. It still has enough grit to feel real rather than sanitised.
