This is the postcard Brighton. The Royal Pavilion, the Pier, the Lanes, the seafront squares with their white stucco facades. Most of the grand Regency buildings are split into flats now. Living here means you're in the thick of everything, which is either brilliant or exhausting depending on your tolerance for hen parties and seagulls. The i360 is at the western end. It's the tourist and nightlife centre of the city, so expect noise, crowds, and the highest property prices on the coast.
