Brunswick is the grand Regency bit of Hove, right on the seafront. The square and the terraces along Brunswick Place and Adelaide Crescent are properly handsome, all cream stucco and iron balconies. Most of the big houses are split into flats now, ranging from beautiful period conversions to slightly tired ones that haven't been touched since the 1980s. You're a short walk from the restaurants along Western Road and the seafront is your front garden. It has a slightly faded grandeur that some people find romantic and others find frustrating. The Western Lawns and the peace statue end of the prom are lovely for an evening walk.
