Hampstead is Hampstead. The Heath, the village high street, the Flask pub, the literary and artistic history. It has been one of London's most prestigious addresses for centuries and that hasn't changed. The village centre has good independent shops, restaurants and cafes, though it's increasingly chains at the lower end of the High Street. The Northern line station is one of the deepest on the network. Housing is a mix of Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian, with prices that reflect the postcode. Keats House, Kenwood, the ponds on the Heath. It's beautiful, expensive, and slightly pleased with itself.
