NW1 0 / NW1 2 / N1C 4
The western side of King's Cross, running towards Argyle Square and the edges of Bloomsbury. More residential than the regeneration zone to the east, with Georgian terraces around the squares and a mix of council housing. Argyle Square and Calthorpe Street have a quieter feel than you'd expect this close to two major rail terminals. There's social housing alongside expensive private flats, sometimes on the same block. King's Cross and Euston tubes are both walkable. It's central, well connected, and has the honest messiness of a neighbourhood that hasn't been masterplanned.
