Primrose Hill is a village in the middle of London. The hill itself gives panoramic views across the city, and on a sunny weekend it's packed. Regent's Park Road has an excellent run of independent shops, delis, and restaurants. The pastel-coloured houses on Chalcot Crescent are among the most photographed streets in London. It's been a celebrity enclave for decades. Chalk Farm tube (Northern line) is the nearest station. Housing is Georgian and Victorian, tightly packed but beautiful. It's tiny, self-contained, and very expensive. The community feel is genuine if you can afford the entry price.
